 The Town of Davie is looking for interest in Parent/Toddler Group Music Classes. The classes will be held at 9:30am – 10:15am for eight weeks. The Parent/Toddler
Group-Interactive Music and Movement Class will include: sing-along, puppet play, dancing with shaker instruments, and more. Children will also have the opportunity to sing solo with guitar accompaniment. The Town of Davie is also looking for interest in Group Guitar Classes, beginning. The Group Guitar Classes will be held at 1:30pm – 3:30pm, and will also be an eight week session. The Group Guitar Class will include instruction in reading music at the beginner level, solo and ensemble activities with a recital at the end of the session.
Both classes will be held in the Pine Island Park Multi-Purpose Center (3801 Pine Island Rd, Davie) and instructed by Bill Striker. There must be at least 10 students pre-registered to start the classes. The price for the eight-week session will be $80.

The Town of Davie is also seeking experienced individuals who are interested in teaching cultural art classes. Individuals who teach dance, art, voice, etc. are invited to inquire. Class instructors are not full-time positions, they are contractual classes that need a minimum of ten students to get started.
The Special Projects Department is accepting resumes and applications for cultural arts instructors.
