 "Wiggle and Sing" - Preschool Music and Movement ProgramAlong with an accompanying parent or caregiver, children meet weekly for a 45-minute class and enjoy singing, moving, listening and interacting socially, and playing simple instruments. Language skills are fostered with singing, sound imitation, and vocal play.
Each session will end with a weekly recommendation of music listening, singing and/or rhythmic exercises; or a hands-on activity i.e. making a percussion instrument from items found at home.
Classes will be held Fridays at 9:30am, in the Pine Island Park Multi-Purpose Center (3801 Pine Island Rd, Davie) and instructed by Lisa Morales. There must be at least 10 students pre-registered to start the classes. The price for the eight-week session will be $84.

The Town of Davie is also seeking experienced individuals who are interested in teaching cultural art classes. Individuals who teach dance, art, voice, etc. are invited to inquire. Class instructors are not full-time positions, they are contractual classes that need a minimum of ten students to get started.
The Special Projects Department is accepting resumes and applications for cultural arts instructors.
