Holidays:

Forty-eight (48) hour employees shall be compensated with their base hourly rate of pay for twelve and one half (12.5) holidays per year as designated by the Town, excluding Quality Service Days, at a rate of twelve (12) hours of their base hourly rate of pay per holiday. |

Forty (40) hour employees shall observe the officially designated Town holidays. |
Sick Leave:

Forty-eight (48) hour employees: 5.54 of sick leave bi-weekly (144 hours or 6 shifts per yr.) |

Sick Leave Accumulation Caps:

Short Term Disability:
60% of weekly salary up to $250 each week for 11 weeks
Long Term Disability:
40% of earnings to a maximum of $3,333 . Employee has the opportunity to increase long term disability coverage to 50% or 60% of earnings.
Life Insurance/AD&D:
$50,000 plus employees may purchase additional insurance (equal to one, two, or three times their annual base pay ) and dependent insurance
Pension:

Employee contributes 7% of base pay and longevity |

Town contributes approximately 34.50% of base pay and longevity depending on the actuary report which indicates the amount required to fund the defined benefit levels and make the plan sound. |
Annual Longevity:
Employees hired on or after October 1, 1985 shall be paid the following longevity:

Tuition Reimbursement:
The Town agrees to reimburse for all job related courses, subject to the reimbursement schedule, taken by employees of the Fire Department with the approval of the Fire Chief or designee; however, all courses shall be completed with a passing grade.
The Town will reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of tuition costs equivalent to those amounts charged by a State of Florida University or Community College if course is available at the lower level institution.
